Priorities

I will work hard to attract and retain business, support local entrepreneurs, and invest in workforce development. By fostering a strong, diverse economy, we can create jobs, support local businesses, and improve the quality of life for all residents, ensuring that Ramsey County is the county of choice! 

As an anishinaabe-ikwe, I believe in planning seven generations ahead and protecting our environment is not just a moral obligation but an urgent necessity. I will advocate for bold, forward-thinking policies aligned with Ramsey County’s Climate Equity Action Plan that address climate change, transportation, and protecting our natural resources. We need to leave a healthier planet for our future generations.

Equity to ensure that we are addressing the systemic disparities that have long affected our marginalized communities. I will work tirelessly to improve access to quality healthcare, affordable housing, and social service programs. We must create policies that break down barriers and provide everyone with a fair chance to succeed. Our diversity is one of our strengths!

I know first hand how county services can help to  improve resident’s lives. One of my top priorities is to ensure access to healthcare services, mental health resources, and social services are easy and responsive. I will advocate for programs and services that promote healthy lifestyles and address health disparities in underserved communities.
